BACKSTORY: We are incredibly proud to announce that our first ever CONSUMER-DESIGNED merch drop is now LIVE! When we were considering ideas for our latest VFI merch design, we decided that we wanted to use something that represents a variety of individuals with disabilities, in conjunction with this year’s 35th anniversary of the ADA. Then it dawned on us– we have so many talented consumers who step through our front door every day… who better to help us bring this idea to life than a local artist? After asking our Activities department if they would be able to help us identify a consumer who might be interested in being contracted for this design project, it was immediately noted that consumer Jared Froess was the man for the job.
Between the fact that Jared spends time drawing daily, and because has already shared his art with friends and staff here at Voices for Independence, it was obvious to all of us that if he had the time, we would love to contract him to be our designated artist. Thankfully for us, Jared had time to help us with this project and accepted our offer, making it look easy the entire time. Another HUGE thank you to Jared for sharing his skills with all of us and for helping our vision come to life!

Please keep in mind, these items will NOT be reprinted, and due to the fact that they are a pre-order, they may not be ready for pickup from our Erie office until approximately 8 weeks after the pre-order window closes. All proceeds go directly toward supporting VFI’s programs and services, providing vital support to individuals with disabilities in our community for over 30 years.
