Disability Pride PGH

Voices for Independence was proud to take part in the inaugural Disability Pride Pittsburgh event, which took place in downtown Pittsburgh at Fort Duquesne Blvd on Saturday, July 23, 2022. More than just an outreach event, Disability Pride Pittsburgh was also a celebration of the disability community at large. The event also doubled as a celebration of the 32nd anniversary of when the Americans with Disabilities Act was signed into law.

We here at Voices for Independence were proud to be a sponsor of Disability Pride Pittsburgh, and meet so many individuals in Allegheny County and surrounding areas, who are in need of services and supports. A special thank you to our good friends at Disability Pride PA, who hosted this incredible event.
