The VFI Consumer Pig Roasts are Just Around the Corner!
Be sure to save the date and share with all VFI consumers that our annual Consumer Pig Roasts are coming soon! The Erie event will be held at the VFI Erie office on August 21, 2025, and the Washington event will be held at the VFI Washington office on August 14, 2025. Please let consumers know to keep an eye out for their postcard invite in the mail soon– we hope to see you all there!
VFI Attendant of the Month Program
Each month we will recognize our Attendant of the month, nominated by our schedulers, recognizing caregivers who have represented themselves with incredible care for their consumers, clocked in/out with a perfect track record, and continues to follow proper protocol every day while on shift. Each Attendant of the Month will receive a recognition certificate, a gift card from the company, and social media recognition. All Attendants of the Month will be entered into a drawing at the end of each year for a chance to win a grand prize!
Important Information
- When calling the office, please make sure to press 1 when you call to be directed to the Home Care department. Please make sure you have your scheduler’s name ready when you call. Your call will then be sent directly to your scheduler for assistance.
- Our annual Consumer Pig Roast and disAbility Health fair will be held in August! Washington’s event will be held on Thursday, August 14 and Erie’s event will be held on Thursday, August 21! Please remind all consumers you work with to register so that they don’t miss it!
- Our union is working hard to bring awareness of the pay levels of our hard-working caregivers in the industry! Erie Office
Voices For Independence is excited to announce the opening of our brand-new Training and Conference Center in Erie! All Erie-based training sessions will be held in the new building, located just a block away from the main Erie office, at 5410 W Lake Rd, Erie, PA 16505. Designed to provide an engaging and productive learning experience, the new Training and Conference Center has both classroom settings and hands-on training rooms as well. We can’t wait for you to see it in person!
