IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM (MATP)

The Department of Public Welfare has implemented a new NO SHOW POLICY for all customers registered with the Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP).

EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2012

ANY MATP CUSTOMER REGISTERED WITH THE LIFT THAT ACCUMULATES TWO (2) NO SHOWS WITHIN A 90 DAY PERIOD WILL RECEIVE A 30-DAY SUSPENSION OF LIFT SERVICES.

A No-Show is defined as a sanction for either not taking a ride that was schedule or not giving at least one-hour notice when calling to cancel a ride. If a customer receives a No-Show, the driver will leave a No-Show tag indicating the time that he/she arrived and departed whenever possible.

Please remember to cancel any unwanted rides at least one hour prior to your scheduled pick-up time. You can cancel your rides by calling 814-456-2299.

If you have any questions, please contact e-LIFT at 814-455-3330.
